OZONE RANGERS
From the road jottings of The Ozone Rangers:
It was a tough weekend for Xeno.
Early Saturday he fell down the stairs and ended up in the hospital for
treatment.
On the way to Jonapalooza, our private
party gig on Saturday, his car overheated and he needed rescuing.
Ever the trooper, he pressed on and played the weekend, albeit on a stool.
Jonapalooza was another nice party and we thank Jon and The Missus and all
his friends and family. "You want the best, you got the best."
On Sunday we finally did get some
beautiful weather for our
early gig at The Varysburg Hotel, in Varysburg,
N.Y. and we had a very good turnout.
Keith, The Owner has run into a legal snag having bands outside and folks
with open containers outside the premises.
The proper permits are forthcoming but for the day we had to play inside. It
worked out fine but outside is the place to be and we're sure Keith will
work matters out.
Thanks for visits from The SGI Crew, Lori, The
Rochester Crew, Donna, Laurie and The Kaisertown Crew.
Thanks to Caitlyn and Wendy for taking good
care of us.
Coming up this Friday we'll be back at The Lakeview
Hotel, in Mayville, N.Y.
It's the start of a holiday weekend and you never know what you'll get but
we're hoping lots of folks will be in the Lake Chautauqua area and stop in.
It's a beautiful spot to be, right on Lake Chautauqua, as Summer comes
near it's end.
We start at 10 PM.
On Saturday we'll be at TNT's
Hair Of The Dig Pub, in Niagara Falls, N.Y.
We always have a good crowd and a good time at the club, plus we'll
surely hear some boat cruise tales from Owner Ted and
his customers who helped fill up our boat cruise.
We'll make sure we let them know how much we appreciated it.
It's another 10 PM start.
Then on Sunday we make our once a year appearance at
The Dock At The Bay, in Hamburg, N.Y.
It's another club right on the water, this time Lake Erie, and quite a view
and a cool spot to be on a Summer evening.
We start at 6 PM and look for friends from
Buffalo, Hamburg and the Burbs to stop out.
Thanks for checking out the site and for all your support!
We appreciate it more than you can imagine.
Some of the pictures in our gallery were
taken by our friend and fantastic photographer, John Dutkiewicz.
Check them out!
